Staying at hotels in Singapore will never fail you. I am the living witness. I love it to the bone. As you know, Singapore is a thriving cosmopolitan city with its history. No wonder lots of people always choose Singapore as their holiday destination. Singaporeans themselves love this city very much. Thus, hotels in Singapore will always fully booked. Singaporeans love a staycation. For example, staying at Fullerton Hotel Singapore.
I can say the best things about Singapore hotels are the facilities which are family and kids friendly. Not all hotels are well-designed as family-friendly hotels and/ or kids-friendly hotels. But, most Singapore Hotels think about these needs.
Why Family and Kids Friendly Hotels?
During this pandemic of COVID-19, the best entertainment is a staycation. Because it is far from crowded but we still can enjoy our time. The key to a staycation is the best hotels to choose from.
This time, I am looking for the ones which are family and kids-friendly. I need to bring my little family and make sure they can enjoy their time as well. When I said a family and kids friendly hotels, it should fill these following requirements:
Family Food Options
My little family consists of two adults (my husband and I), one toddler (my 3 years old son), and one infant (my 6 years old baby). Thus, food options in the hotel are a big matter for me.
I need to check whether my son can eat the meals or not, whether the menu will suit him or not, and stuff. My son is not a picky eater, but I need to calculate how much I have to prepare for his meals if the hotels’ do not suit him.
I prefer hotels which offer lots of kids’ entertainment facilities. For example a swimming pool for kids or even a playground (or maybe just a kids corner near the restaurant). Of course, I don’t want my family’s staycation filled by a tantrum kid. The goal of the staycation is for all to be happy.
Hotel with A Lift
I love staying at a ‘skyscraper’ hotel, but make sure it has a lift. I need to tell my husband about this matter every time we are about to book a hotel. Don’t ask me why, because it will throw me back to a bad experience.
I asked my husband to book a ‘tall’ hotel. I mean literally tall. I really wanted to be on the balcony and look at the view from the top. It was not the tallest or a skyscraper building, but it’s quite tall and made me tired of taking the stairs.
Since then, I always remind him about that experience. I just don’t want the same thing to happen. It ruins my holiday memory whenever I remember it.
A hotel with a lift is a requirement of being a family and kids-friendly hotel. Can you imagine going upstairs with all of your belongings while holding your children? Please, don’t.
The best things about Singapore Hotels are most of the hotels there are family and kids-friendly hotels. Further, these hotels now are eligible for Singapore Rediscovers Vouchers which will give a whole family (up to 6 members), to get a special discount.
